Montrose,
CO -Western
Slope Pro Audio, Inc completed the installation of a new
sound reinforcement system for the
City of Montrose Council
Chambers. A BiAmp
VRAMEQ automatic mixer and new Crown microphones anchor
the new system.
The BiAmp VRAMEQ features 10-mic/line
inputs and two independent outputs. Output one of the
mixer is used to feed the speaker system and the second
is dedicated to the recording of proceedings. For meetings
that do not require sound reinforcement a speaker volume
control was mounted in the equipment rack allowing the
speaker system to be turned off for added recording levels.
Seven-Crown LM-200 podium microphones
were installed on the Dais along with two-PCC-170 boundary
microphones for the use on the attorney’s tables during
court proceedings. |
Three Shure
UT Series UHF wireless systems were also installed for
guest speakers and for the moveable podium.
Elkay in-ceiling speakers were installed with back boxes
and tile bridge supports to cover the audience seating
area.
A previously installed Technics RS-TR575 dual-well cassette
deck was also mounted in the Raxxess wall rack to allow
program playback and to record proceedings. All components
in the wall rack were secured and a double cam-locking
door was installed for added system security.
Expandability is built in to the system by virtue of
BiAmps’ linking capability a second mixer and additional
microphones can easily be added to the system. New cable,
connection plates and speaker cable were also installed. |
