NuSkin International
of Provo, UT has upgraded the audio and video capability
in their corporate headquarters cafeteria to accommodate
more multi-purpose functions. New speakers, mixers, amplifier,
video playback and multiple microphone locations were
installed. The cafeteria is regularly used for employee
meetings, and as a staging area for company tours and
luncheons.
The system allows playback of VCR sources, multiple in-house
cable TV channels, jukebox audio, as well as providing
microphone input for guest or feature presentation speakers.
In-ceiling speakers distribute the audio throughout the
dining and kitchen areas, with multiple volume control
zones.
The original system installed during construction in
the early 1990’s suffered from numerous problems including
damaged components from years of use. |
All new cable was installed
for the speaker and microphone systems, with the old removed
during the process. The original equipment location (in
the kitchen area) had resulted in excessive dirt and grime
build-up, so the new system was located in a corner of
the dining room and mounted in a lockable wall mount cabinet.
