| Stuttgart-Vaihingen,
Germany - DynCorp Systems & Solutions
contacted Western Slope Pro Audio early this year regarding
a conference room system requirement for U.S. European Command.
An AutoCAD diagram was e-mailed to our office and we presented
a design for the system upgrade. The previous system
was causing numerous problems not the least of which was very
poor audio quality.
Working from the CAD drawing, a system was
designed that included BiAmp VRAM automatic mixers, BiAmp
multi-channel power amp, Furman power distribution and sequencing,
Klipsch in-ceiling speakers with backboxes and mounting hardware,
a Marantz PMD-520 independent dual cassette, Shure P-4800 system
processor, and a Shure |
microphone package. All components were to
be integrated into the existing equipment rack on site.
RS-232 control on the VRAM mixer enabled
simple integration with an existing Crestron control system on
site. Programmable functions on the VRAM and P-4800 allow
speakers located above an active microphone to be muted aiding in
feedback control and improving the overall system performance.
All system components were delivered to WSPA
Inc.’s office checked for completeness then repackaged for
delivery to Germany. All components were accompanied by
installation instructions and wiring diagrams for the on-site
installers. |
