CO – A new Eagle County
Public Meeting and Courtroom facility opened this
summer in El Jabel to serve the Western end of Eagle County.
The El Jabel system was the second of three systems WSPA,
Inc. installed for Eagle County this summer.
Ten Apogee ACS series speakers were
installed to cover the audience seating area. The Apogee
Point 5 speaker offers excellent voice reproduction in a
compact cabinet. A Peavey IPS-150 power amplifier provides
power for the speaker system, and speaker zones are
controlled through a Niles impedance protecting volume
control interface.
Shure MX-series desk microphones were
installed on the Dais, podium, and witness stand along with
two Shure UT series UHF wireless systems.
BiAmp VRAM automatic mixers provide
microphone mixing. Two VRAM’s are linked together and
feature 10-inputs each |
and two programmable outputs. A
Shure DFR-11EQ that provides system wide feedback control,
EQ, and programmable delay settings processes the speaker
system.
Recorded program playback and
recordings can be done via a Marantz PMD-510 cassette
deck. The independent dual-well design allows one deck to
be dedicated to recording and the other playback, or may
be set to continuous record mode to archive longer
proceedings.
A Listen Technologies LP-14-072
hearing assist system was installed for ADA compliance.
The system features the frequency agile LT-800 transmitter
and 4-LR-300 personal receivers fitted with the single ear
speaker.

ER-series equipment rack holds the components securely and
a RackRider RR-15 conditions rack power. |
