of Gunnison Upgrades
Council Chamber Sound System

CO - Western Slope Pro Audio, Inc completed
the installation of a new sound reinforcement system for the
City of Gunnison Council Chambers.
Two BiAmp AutoOne automatic mixers and new
Crown and Shure microphones anchor the new system.
The BiAmp AutoOne features 8-mic/line inputs
with individual input rim providing an affordable and versatile
system. The link capability of the AutoOne provides master/slave
operation with a single master level control. The Main output was
connected to the Owner’s Rane graphic equalizer which the feeds
the |
court recording deck. The auxiliary output
is also equalized through the Rane and then connected to a Peavey
UA 35 amplifier. This signal is divided and used to feed the
local TV cable system, which broadcasts council proceedings.
New speaker cable was run to the existing
in-ceiling speakers and new cable was installed for the Dais and
lectern microphones. Shure MX-412D/C desk microphones were
installed on the Dais and attorney’s tables and two Crown PCC-170
boundary mics were used at the back conference table. |
