Hotchkiss High School
Goes Mobile with Sound

Western Slope Pro Audio, Inc. has delivered a portable sound system to Hotchkiss High School that provides 800-watts of mobile sound for school events. The system consists of a Biamp 801 mixer, Shure Dual VHF wireless and dynamic handheld microphone system, RackRider surge and spike protection, and a pair of Mackie Designs SRM-450 self-powered loudspeakers. All components were securely mounted in an SKB ATA road case with custom caster base. A custom connection panel was installed that provides front panel access to

all available mic and line inputs as well as providing easily accessible connectors for the line output speaker feeds. The system can be set-up and operating in under 10-minutes. Sabine feedback control was also installed to provide system wide protection from damaging feedback signals.

The sound system provides enough power to be used indoors or out, and for small to large gatherings up to 1000 people.
