| Hotchkiss,
CO - A new sound reinforcement system was recently
installed in the United Methodist
Church in Hotchkiss. Following positive reviews
from its sister Parish in Crawford, (see Spring 01) UMC
Hotchkiss contacted WSPA to look at a system upgrade.
A
Rolls RM-81 eight-channel mixer was installed along with
a Rolls RA-200 power amp to drive the system. Two
new Shure UHF wireless systems were provided one includes
a hand-held SM-58 transmitter and the other a body-pack
/ WL-185 lavalier combo.
Two Shure PG-48 dynamic handheld mics round out the microphone
package for soloist use. |
A Sabine FBX-1020+ provides
system wide feedback control. A new JVC 5-disc CD
changer was delivered for recorded program playback and
two existing dual-well cassette decks provide recording
and playback function for tape format. The speaker
system features two Klipsch KI-102 8” two-way loudspeakers.
The KI-102 delivers superb voice and music performance and
we have had great success with them in venues of this size.
In addition to the new components the Church’s Carillon
system was moved from the basement to the new Owner supplied
equipment cabinet, with new cable installed to the bell
tower speaker. |
