CO - The La Plata County
Council meeting room recently expanded their sound
reinforcement and recording capability with the addition
of a Shure AMS-8100 automatic mixer, additional dais and
boundary mics, and new recording deck. The original system
featured Shure automatic mixers and AMS microphones and
thus required similar equipment for compatibility. An additional
Shure AMS-8100 was installed with a new AMS 24 desk microphone
mounted on the dais at the clerk/recorder station, 3-each
Shure AMS 22 boundary microphones and a |
Technics dual-well cassette deck.
Several old connection plates were also replaced during
the installation. As an additional phase several offices
were wired and had in-wall speakers installed to allow various
employees to monitor proceedings as necessary. Elkay 70-volt
in-wall speakers with volume controls were installed.The
main council room hosts a variety of groups and meetings
for the county and a connection panel was also installed
to back of the room to allow recording of those proceedings
via the main system. |
