The Montrose Recreation District has taken delivery of a portable PA system modeled after our current demo system (shown right). The system includes two Mackie Designs SRM450 powered speakers, Technics 5-disc CD changer and dual well cassette deck, Telex Hydro Waterproof Wireless microphone system, and a Rolls audio mixer.

All components were mounted in an SKB ATA equipment cabinet with power conditioning provided by a RackRider RR-15 power/light module.

The system will be used at the Aquatic Center for water aerobics and other "wet" classes, with the Telex system being completely submersible for instructor use. The portable design will also allow the Rec District to easily move the system to other venues as needed for a high quality PA.
