CO - The Town of Parachute
recently upgraded their recording capability for Town Council
meetings and Court proceedings. Western Slope Pro Audio,
Inc. designed and installed the new system that consisted
of five Shure MX series desk microphones, one Shure boundary
mic, Rolls RM-81 mic/line mixer, and a Technics dual well
cassette deck. The system was designed to be flexible enough
to use for both council meetings and court proceedings.
The system can be configured in a number of fashions to
best suit each need. The desk microphones will still allow
the Town to move the tables that serve as both |
council dais and judges stand.
Two Whirlwind multi- connectors were installed, one behind
the dais and the other at the table used by the Town Clerk.
A Horizon stage series snake provides connections for the
microphones and offers the ability to place microphones
in a number of room locations. The SKB equipment rack that
hosts all electronic components connects to the wall plate
near the Clerk’s desk. All equipment is connected to a RackRider
power conditioning/surge suppression unit that provides
electrical protection for all connected gear as well as
a single power on / off switch for the system. |
